IC Romance works heavily with ghostwriters on specific assignments covering short stories, novellas, and novels. We use these assignments to help publishers complete their existing projects. If you are accepted to the program, you will be asked to complete writing assignments which IC Romance will purchase from you, including all rights. Using a model similar to freelance journalism, writers are paid via PayPal. Therefore, you must have a PayPal account and be willing to work as a ghostwriter. Below is the simple process to apply to become a guided ghostwriter for IC Romance.
Writing samples must include a prologue piece and a love scene written in a classic, yet contemporary romance style. The content should be descriptive and artfully written. Special attention should be paid to background details, such as the time in history, location, sounds, smells, etc. International and exotic locations are ideal.
Submit your samples as an attachment in MS Word document format. No other file formats will be accepted.

If your samples are compelling, we will e-mail to you a contract for you to print, sign, and mail back to us.
Once we have received your signed contract, we will contact you via e-mail with a clearly-defined writing assignment. All compensation details will be outlined for each assignment.
All payments will be made via PayPal according to payment details stipulated in the assignment.
